11-5 ICC Recap Saturday, November 06, 2010
8:44 AM

I think we did an awesome job, despite all of our hiccups, we made it 6/12 on our second night of Raiding together as a Guild, and that is something to be proud about

I don't think our Off-Tank's gear can take her through many more bosses, but I think we can at least kill the Proffessor on a weekly basis after we learn the fight mechanics better and get our vent

Marrowgar and Deathwhisper were perfectly executed, we have some things to fine tune, but it our current stratagies work great

The Heroic Gunship...my apologies for attempting to do that 9 man, I thought it could be done, but apparently, not yet, lol

As for the Abominations:

Rotface-It took the healers telling me that our OT couldn't take the hits, and me switching with her to down this guy, after we got that, he was easy, so the strat on him is to let Sairra kite the Ooze

Festergut-This fight was executed nicely, Sairra did die at the end, but it was to be expected since she was taking a few big-boy hits, but this was also understood and made simple when we had one healer in, one out, and people knowing that one spore stays in and one goes out....but not fully in this case since I got the [Flu Shot Shortage] achievement, lol

As for the Proffessor, we did good learning the fight to the second phase, now we just need to fine tune that and we have it

Again, great job to all who came, and thank you for helping and playing with us :)

Regarding Rotface - As you know my main is a prot/holy paladin and a paladin kiting the ooze is not easy so I was unsure how I would do kiting the ooze since I was always on Rot. But, after doing it with my DK... that thing is damn easy! lol.

Festergut - LOL yeah, I did pretty good with my low gear! Yay for several cool downs but I wasn't dodge/parry capped so, yeah, don't stress healers! lol You guys did great lol. On a strat note, I do know one that always worked well for our guild on GH (doesn't mean it works for all, but its another option). This option also works well for new people to the encounter because its less stress. When spores are up all stack on tank, when they burst all range run out. BUT, the downside of this is, if your range is not quick enough about getting back out it could wipe the raid with a vile gas getting in the center. SO, take as is, another option. :)

You don't know pain... yet...
